Datavue2 If you do not have Datavue2 installed on your computer, DOWNLOAD IT HERE at the Facet Shoppe! This is the main program of DataVue2, which sets up the program on your computer so that you can then install the actual database files included in the 1999 Update (below). DataVue2 Setup Instructions To create an install/backup disk, download the zip file and unzip it onto a floppy diskette and lable the diskette as the DataVue2 Program The purpose of this diskette is to install the program files for the DataVue 2 database of faceting diagrams. This diskette does NOT include the database files. AFTER YOU RUN SETUP TO INSTALL THE FILES ON THIS DISKETTE, YOU MUST THEN INSTALL THE 1999 DATAVUE 2 DATA FILES! The program files on this diskette will be of no use to you without the update files. The database files installed by this diskette are actually just dummy placeholders for the real files. 1. Insert the DVue2 program disk into drive "A" or "B". 2. Win95/98/etc from the Start Menu select "RUN". 3. Then type "A:setup" (or "B:setup") and press "ENTER". Download the DataVue2 1999 Data Update Files Here if you are installing the entire Datavue program: This includes ALL of the data files in one zip file. Download this and unzip the files into the DVue directory. Data Files in Zip Format (4+ Meg) There is NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT available for these programs! After setup is complete, if you experience any errors that mention "ODBC" or "ODBCINST", READ THIS! If you want to download a zip file of the origional "odbc.dll" and odbcinst.dll" files, get them here. DataVue2 is the program that has worked so well for so many- the update only adds the data files- but they come "as is" - no warrantee expressed or implied. Sorry, but while we are making corrections as part of the 2000-2002 update, the asc files have been temporarily removed. The "Get ASC File" command will work again with the 2002 data files. When I have an expected completion date, it will be posted here.
